Our water is produced by firstly going through a water softener. Softeners mainly remove calcium and magnesium. Calcium and magnesium are often referred to as ‘hardness minerals’ which is why water softeners can be beneficial to properties who have a ‘hard water’ supply. After this process our water goes through a reverse osmosis filter. This filter is used to remove common chemical contaminants (metal ions, aqueous salts), including sodium, chloride, copper, chromium, and lead. Finally we use a mixed bed resin filter to remove any remaining TDS’s to leave our water purified at 0 PPM.
